Block sessions are a type of show you can choose to offer. This allows members to buy larger chunks of time at a discounted rate.

Offering Block Sessions

To turn Block Sessions on or off, find “My Show Prices” in the Profile Section of your Dashboard. Click “Edit” next to Block Sessions. You can choose which time blocks options to offer:

15 minute sessions receive a 5% discount from your regular rate.
30 minute sessions receive a 10% discount from your regular rate.
45 minute sessions receive a 15% discount from your regular rate.
60 minute sessions receive a 20% discount from your regular rate.
Customers can choose to pay for either a premium (other members can join) or an exclusive (one on one interaction) block session. If other members join a premium block session, they do not receive the discount and you’ll earn your regular per-minute rate for however long they stay.

Starting a Block Session (Member)

When a member clicks to start a show, they will only see blocks that they can pay for with their remaining funds. If they are too close to hitting their daily limit, they may not even see block sessions as an option.

If you have exclusive sessions enabled, customers can choose between premium (other members can join) or exclusive (one-on-one interaction) block sessions. If other members join a premium block session, they do not receive the discount and you’ll earn your regular per-minute rate for however long they stay.

Accepting a Block Session

After a customer selects the block session they want to purchase, you will be notified. You can accept or decline. Make sure you have enough time to complete the entire session.

Interrupted Block Session

If a block session is disconnected by accident or because of technical problems, the member can choose to resume the session any time within 2 hours. All they have to do is click to start a new show. They’ll see a notification of how much block time they have left.

If a member tries to resume, you should accept if you’re able to. If the member doesn’t resume within 2 hours, their session will expire and they’ll have to purchase a new show. You will be paid for the entire block session.

If you end a block session early on purpose, or if you fail to resume the session when requested, your account will be flagged. You may have to return all or part of the earnings. After enough violations, your account could be terminated.
