The right tools will help you improve your stream’s quality and draw in more customers. These cameras have been tested on our systems and produce exceptional video and audio. All recommendations are compatible with Windows and Mac, and will work on both desktop computers and laptops.

Please note that if you have a slow internet connection, you may see lower quality video even if you upgrade your camera. Before upgrading, go to www.speedtest.net and click “Begin Test” to check your internet speed. If either your upload or download speeds are below 1mbps, consider upgrading to faster internet before purchasing a new camera. Visit Improving Streaming Quality and Speed for ways to improve video without a new camera.

Personal Webcam (Easiest Setup)

If you want a basic, inexpensive webcam, our recommendation is the Logitech C920 Webcam. It is a great personal camera with very high-quality video and audio. It will work on most computers and setup is easy.

Setup Instructions for the Logitech C920

To set up the Logitech C920:

  1. Connect the camera to a USB slot on your computer.
  2. Your computer should detect the camera.
  3. An installation screen will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the camera.

You’re ready to stream! We recommend using the External Encoder with the highest quality settings.

If you have any problems setting up or using this camera, contact Logitech.

Conference Webcam (Great Features)

If you’re looking for more features, the Logitech BCC950 ConferenceCam is a good choice. This camera can capture high-quality video and audio from right up close or several feet away. It comes with a remote control to let you turn or zoom the camera from anywhere in the room. The wide angle lens makes it a great option for both groups and individual performers. This camera will work on most computers.

To set up the Logitech BCC950:

  1. Attach the camera head to the base (either directly or using the height extension stem).
